Stampin' Up! So Hoppy Together

Back in December, my friend Donna Ross created a fun card with the Stampin' Up So Hoppy stamp set.  Then, she reworked the card with sentiments from the Forever Lovely stamp set and the Meant to Be Stamp Set so the card could be used for Valentines.  The So Hoppy set is a free Sale-A-Bration selection.  What's Sale-A-Bration?  

Sale-A-Bration is a special sale Stampin' Up! holds during Jan - Feb - March, where each $50 or $100 purchase earns you free selections from Sale-A-Bration merchandise in the the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  The Forever Lovely set and Be Mine Stitched Dies are from the Occasions catalog and the Tea Room Specialty Designer Series paper with the flies used on these cards are from the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.   

Add lipstick to your frog from So Hoppy Together Stamp Set

Donna used a base card of Granny Apple Green card stock, then a layer of Basic Black card stock.  Then a layer of a print from the Tea Room Specialty designer series paper that has flies or as part of its background -- perfect for the little green froggie.        

  

Valentine card using the Stampin' Up! So Hoppy Together Stamp Set

She die cut a Whisper White rectangle using the new set of Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (bottom of page 28 in the new Occasions catalog).  Then she set up her Stamparatus with the little bugs images, the frog image and the sentiment stamp, all on a single Stamparatus plate so that it could be stamped all three at one time in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. (See my Jan 7,2019 post)  Then the light and dark Granny Apple Green Blends alcohol-based markers were used to color the little bugs and the frog.  Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker was used to add eyelashes to the frog, and a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker to add lips to the frog.

The hearts were die cut out of the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets (149712), a free selection from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, using the multi-hearts die from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies (148527).
