Beginner Class 101

Our first Beginner class this week went very well. Based on my outline we learned the basics supplies and how to use them, including the general sizes to cut cards and their layers.
The really fun part was using Stazon and Memento Ink pads as the base color several times with an open image stamp as our experiment base. Then we first colored with Water Color Pencils, then with Stampin' Write Markers and then with Stampin' Blends to show the different looks. These all come in a wide variety of colors. When we applied the Aqua Painters the images took on a whole new look!

The final event of class was the making of a #simplestamping card using the new Playful Penguins Cling Stamp Set with Memento Ink and Pacific Point Ink Pad.

First Christmas Card Class

We had a lot of laughs This last Friday at my reveal of the Christmas Catalog.

We were joined by little Joy, a sweetheart who made a card for her Mommy and my new Yorkie Dodie who did not leave Joy. They were so cute!

Joy's Memaw Karen is a Demonstrator on my Team. Anne and Elease are Daughter and Mother whom I recently met.

We made 4 cards from 2 sets, Feels Like Frost Suite and So Many Stars Bundle.Brightly Gleaming DSP was added with some Ice Stampin Glitter, some really fun to watch Snowfall Accent Puff Paint and white Embossing Powder to give that special icy look.

Whisper White Base card dry embossed with Subtle folder,

Brightly Gleaming Stars DSP, Gold Foil Stitched Star outline and center, stamp center with So Many Stars Stamp Set. Oval from Stitched Shapes Dies in Gold Foil, stamped with sentiment from So Many Stars Set, Gold thread or wire. Stamp further sentiment and/or image inside and envelope.

Whisper White CS base, Red Cobbler CS and Gold Foil strip dry embossed with Hammered Folder, Put together 3 springs cut with Sprig Punch & 2 springs cut from Frosted Frame dies tipped with any red marker or Blend top with Red Rhinestones and Real Red Curly Ribbon. Star cut from Cherry Cobbler CS with Stitched Star Dies, stamped with JOY from Frosted Foliage Stamp set. Inside sentiment and image from So Many Stars.
